[.].Forget in Kodak, Im done with you. Im not joking, its just a slight jar.I know that the waranty is worthless, I triped over the purse that had my camera in it (this is the only thing I can think of that happened to it) and it stoped working. I had to pay to ship it to the waranty place where they said they wouldnt give me a new one because it had been (dropped). This is my second Kodak and I have had bad experiances with both of them. Your not getting my money so you can make more chinese crap. Im sure yours will last as long as you dont accidntley bump it on any thing or drop it more than a half an inch. You can tell they are made in China as they are very touchy and break very easy. I paid over two hundrend bucks and here it is, the day before my daughers birthday, it wont turn on because of a slight jare.
My only issue is the rechargeable batteries it requires. This camera so far has not only met but exceeded my expectations. But other than that, I really enjoy it and use it almost non-stop. I wish it had a charger bay like my old Kodak did. I've had it for a little over a month or so and it's been excellent. Easy to use, easy to share photos you simply can't go wrong with the Kodak camera.
You get the same effect as a manual or auto 35mm (camera buffs know there is a difference) I carry it with me in the car at all times. I'm back taking photos of my new life, desktop background photos are my favorite to share. I've had faithful 35 mm cameras (2),one i still have, but having access to the digital process is most convenient. With close up flower shots, every detail is captured and even stops a bees wings in motion.
I had 5 years experience with this camera until my fiance' became an "ex". I know i will not miss a nature shot (especially animals) going through attachments & adjustments to get ready (animals don't pose).I understand it is being discontinued by Kodak, hope they can come up w/ an equivalent for those not fortunate to have grabbed one of the Z650's.Would be glad to share some of the photos as proof of how good this camera is. If you want a camera that's easy to use, no missed shots, crisp photos and will last a long time w/o additional expenses (i use batteries only) this is the one. When this camera left with him, i missed the camera the most.
No adjusting, just turn the dial to the setting. Women especially would love some of my desktop background photos.I would rate it a 6-star if i could. I would not have been able to afford a new one so Amazon came to the rescue. It is by far the easiest camera to use when it comes to settings & reviews.
A great buy for sure. I have been using it for three weeks and am so impressed with what it can do.
Too big, bulky, not enough quality in extended zoom. I got this unit for the extended zoom capabilities. Not impressed at all and I returned it.
